Hi all
My CDR-300UV is fine on TX in DMR mode but I cannot hear anything like the speaker is muted. The green light is on when it receives but no audio out of the speaker. Analogue is fine. Any clues?
Thanks, Justin.

Need a lot more information, a green light will indicate activity on the frequency but not on your talk group, are you trying to listen to a repeater with static talkgroups or a hotspot? What does the dashboard for the DMR network say re activity?

Firs i need to know if your channel/zone you are programming is for Repeater or here is a sample of my setup. Note that hotspot simplex is always TS2 and CC1 bot to work you have to put RX TS=off and TX TS=2 to work properly. Repeater is ok

Hello Daniel, thank you for your invaluable help, I was able to configure my codeplug to be able to listen on the RX/TX, CDR 300 UV, I do not have an indoor antenna and I connect to the network through a hotspot. Thanks again. health in the times we live, especially those of us who have many coils (I have 70 coils) 73

Hi Daniel, I also had this issue last night but somehow fixed it this morning.
Wondering if someone could please send me a copy of a working code plug? I have the basics working, but am confused by the RX groups etc. as I have not had to use them with any of the previous 5 DMR radios I have had. There are a couple of strange things happening and I am sure its just simple configuration issues.
Also wondering if its possible to get rid of the missed call message, be nice to replace it with Last Call or Last Heard with callsign instead.

Turn off the call log function to remove the missed call message Hi, thanks for that, had tried in the radio but somehow managed to miss the checked boxes in the code plug. How are you finding it overall? Mine seems to go to sleep in RX mode. I am still in the learning and building code plug mode with this one, but have a couple of other DMR radios here and they will both receive say a signal on MARC 505 but this remains silent unless the PTT is keyed, if it has been idle for some time. I am pretty familiar with coding the Anytone, TYT and Retevis radios but still a bit confused by this one. Cheers, Garry

BS Failed mean your Repeater or Hotspot is not responding. I had same issue on my Repeater and i try with CDR300 i had BS failed. so i took my mobile and MD380 to try and had same thing long beep that RPT is not available. I have to reboot Pi-Star of the repeater and then it worked. It is like putting a fake Frequency in your channel and result will be the same.

Hi Daniel, thanks for posting up your codeplug, I learnt a couple of things from it. I notice your version is 3 August and I can only find a version from 1 August so far.
I am having an issue where I have two hotspots, one for MARC and one for Brandmiester with different frequencies etc. I set my radios up with MARC in channel A and BM in channel B, normally both monitoring 505. I am finding with the 300, perhaps because both are on UHF, that it will tend to lock on to the last received channel A/B and if quiet, will not respond to say a call on 505 MARC if the last call was on BM unless I wake it up by changing channel or keying the PTT and then it works as normal again.
Basically, it seems to go to sleep, like a dynamic talk group and needs waking up.
Cheers,
Garry
ps. Just found you had uploaded the 3 August firmware to the downloads section. Writing that now.
