For radios with PowerOn issues here is recipe
to fix your problems
Download the following Debug04 BIN file and CPS 2.1 (BER-GPS) and save it on your PC
Unzip both files.
Also install the new CPS (BER-GPS)
Look in download section for to get the Zip files with Debug04 BIN file and CPS 2.1 (BER-GPS)
Here you are back on the air
Also if you had BER high before on your Hotspot it should drop almost to Zero. I went from 3 to 4% to 0.3% on hotspot with this FW
to fix your problems
Download the following Debug04 BIN file and CPS 2.1 (BER-GPS) and save it on your PC
Unzip both files.
Also install the new CPS (BER-GPS)
Look in download section for to get the Zip files with Debug04 BIN file and CPS 2.1 (BER-GPS)
- Then open the Firwmare Updater IAP program
- Choose the file you just downloaded (debug04) and put your radio in DFU mode with red LED and white screen.
- Then click IAP and the count should start and it will count to 390 this time instead of 389.
- When to end the radio will turn off. You turn the radio back on and you are probably going to have Channel 1 unprogrammed.
- Now close the IAP and open your new CPS V2.1 (BER-GPS),
- Then load the last good Codeplug V2.1 that you had into your CPS and make a WRITE on your Radio.
- Then after the radio reboot your config of your last codeplug should be there.
- Then go to Menu, INFO, Version and you must have version 1 Aug 2020 14:14
Here you are back on the air
