My 880UV charger's LED
It's always on RED. Is that means, charging is always on? Is that function correctly?

The charger contacts are of very poor quality. In my case, I had to lift them a little to connect correctly with the battery pack. Conclusion: the light is now red while charging and green when charging is complete. When the base does not have the battery the lights are off.

My charger (880uv/Plus) is changing from red to green but it takes some time

my charger is working correct.
NO LED = Nothing charging
RED LED = Charging
GREEN LED = Fully Charged

Well just got my order of 2x 880 and 4x 300
both charger would not charged. I had to lift all the contacts with small screw driver. Now Radio and Battery show bot Red.
Before if i was rocking the battery or the radio in the cradle the LED would go from Off to Red and as soon as i take my hand off the battery LED goes off.

My charger is faulty it is now showing a green light when I put in a flat battery to charge and will not charge it at all the rear slot only worked for a short time but this didnt bother me until now as i cannot charge the radio at all .. great radio poor accessories .. will be asking the seller to replace it ..
