I tried to update the firmware on my Kydera. Now bricked. Will not turn on. Only using P1 + power. I've tried Flashing, new firmware using IAP.
Old firmware, New firmware !!KYD logo Flash.
So far, nothing has worked.
I have googled, looked on this board. Thanks Roy N4BYU

Nonsense! If the cable works with the CPS, then this cable will work 100% with the update firmware. |

The firmware update process has a weird timing issue with the first 'write' command after the initial 'erase' command which makes CH340 chip based cables often fail to update firmware but works fine for codeplugs. That said, the cable that comes with the radios is a Prolific PL2303TA so unless OP was using another cable there should have been no issue updating firmware unless there was some other issue.
