This version reboots the radio every 15 minutes. Have gone back to April 22 2021 and it still reboots every 15 minutes, will this nightmare ever end ?

What model of radio you have?
Kydera, Retevis or Radioddity?
i have been running it since it was release and i have no issue.

Kydera CDR-300UV, seems to also randomly lock in RX with the green LED on ( scan mode ) when there is no signal, but showing the last radio ID. I've installed the new CPS (Aug 17) so will re-load my codeplug with that and see if it makes any difference.

Well you have a defective radio and not the FW i have never and never had the radio to reboot by itself.
I am running that June 18th version and i have no problem.

I have a Kydera and a Retevis and both reboot randomly... It doesn't happen as often as to be a real problem but it is still annoying.

Radio is NOT defective. Was working fine until June18 FW update. What I have noticed is, if the radio goes wrong after a firmware update...keep flashing it until it works ok. Think maybe the IAP is faulty giving false sum check. Also , after FW update, reload your codeplug, even if it looks to be ok. There are bugs on all levels with this radio, CPS and firmware. Very unstable.
