I have a major issue with analog mode. Even with a squelch setting of 9 the squelch breaks almost continously on VHF at at times on UHF but nowhere near as bad. It is set to 25khz bandwidth for all programmed channels and the VFO. The problem does go away when analog is set to 12.5khz mode but this leads to many reports of soft transmit audio and some stations breaking up in receive mode. I have the latest firmware from Retevis but this issue had been going on since I bought the transceiver mid last year. Any clues as to how I may resolve this most annoying issue before I throw the radio in the bin?
