Then make and name a "Group list" add the groups from your database of Talk Groups. Add from left list to right list . Attachments:

Add this Group List to the Channel you want in GCL. All Talk Groups in the Group list will be received then on that channel. Attachments:

Or skip the whole add all the talkgroups - program all the channels thing and go the minimalist approach. Define your channels and zones and then define just a couple of your well-used talkgroups (if you like). Define the talkgroups in a notebook or spreadsheet - add whatever comments you like (Great net events, good for early AM QSO with London etc) and then use that spreadsheet/notebook as a Telephone book. When you want to go to a channel set the radio into promiscuous mode and key up the group call "#number" or private call "##number" and you're in. No scrolling through 100 contacts/talkgroups you just need to know the talkgroup number you want. You can read more about this approach in detail here: kd2wll.winstonlawrence.us/rt73-the-minimalist-codeplug/index.htmlYou can also manually add channels if your radio is in channel mode so even they don't need to be pre-defined in the CPS although I personally haven't tried that yet :-)
