Base Station not response. That means that you do not have the repeater in coverage, or that you do not access it due to an error in the programming of your codeplug

Hmmmm in my case it meant "Band Split" failed. Any difference + or - between the TX and RX frequencies inhibited the TX. I have never found a solution for this problem, so the radio now sits sulking in it's box. Good luck.

Or you can RECEIVE the repeater but repeater CANNOT HEAR your transmission on analog you might hear noise on digital you basically work or dont work so you may need more power a better antenna or both - I get this (BS fail) with a repeater thats about 25 miles away from me - so use that repeater as an antenna test myself - Yagis apparently do work.

I have never found a solution for this problem, so the radio now sits sulking in it's box. Good luck. That's easy. It's not Band Split failed. If you are using DMR with a frequency split - ie through a repeater or dual-ts hotspot, the radio and the repeater need to sync, so the radio can drop into the correct time slot fot TX. The repeater is not correctly syncing with you (wrong colour code, wrong freq, out of range), so the radio won't tx. If it's simplex, there is no sync process (as it isn't duplex), so this issue doesnt happen. David
