Hi, after recently updating the firmware and the CPS software, the radio now fails to TX and displays a BS failed on screen. How can I correct this? DRS-300UV

Is this only happening on split frequency channels or all channels ? It might imply it's not getting a signal from a repeater or impolite mode is not selected.

Hi thanks for all the replies. Just to be clear, the codeplug was fully working on both DMR and FM before upgrade. After the upgrade the radio gives all the usual display of correct operation and even displays the correct RX contact information on screen, but only pops are emitted from the speaker, no voice audio. On TX it always fails with the same on screen BS error. It does sometimes produce an RF field just not modulated in any way on both DMR and FM.
I have tried loading sample codeplugs, and created a simple single zone/channel codeplug. But the same situation exists. If I load the Ghost codeplug which is created by the CPS installer, the radio quite happily transmits and receives correctly on both the analogue and digital factory test channels. But any editing of this codeplug when uploaded back to the radio results in the same TX error.

A shot in the dark..Try the DRS.CPS 9.1.165 for the Retivis rt73..it's what i use with kydera300.

Well 24th of December is Old firmware
the latest is posted in Download section and is from end of January
