Has anyone else had problems with the DMR contact ID not showing when they talk ? Im only getting their DMR ID number, nothing else. It used to work fine until I updated the firmware and CPS. Both are the latest version. I have tried many CSV files, and all get the same result. I have tried different CPS version, with same result. Do I have to roll back the firmware ?
Thank you all.

NO you dont have to roll back. If you go into the radio Menu Contacts/Ham Private how many ID do you have on the top screen 1/177063 is what i have if you dont have any then there is no Id in you radio.

Well after trying MANY combinations of software, I have finally got it to work.
I used
Version 109E.D4.EARSAB.006. F136-480 Nov 23 2020 08:55:12
With DMR CPS_DRS 9.1.152
Radio is now working as it should, displaying the details of the caller.
The CPS is the latest version, and the Firmware is NOT the latest, but the one before.

well i just upload the latest with 183607 conatact then when i look in the Menu Contacts/Ham Private i get only 131072 Contact. I am running dEC 24TH. but with my previous 177063 Contact it was working fine with latest firmware.
can you zip me the CSV files that you are uploading so i can test and are you uploading 16 bits or 128 bits full descriptions.

Hello, i gess your csv file is in wrong formatting.
The header in your file:
Radio ID,Callsign,Name,City,State,Country
The header you need:
Radio ID,Callsign,Name,City,State/Prov,Country,Remarks

For what its worth, I download the US only contact list from Ailuance. From there, I delete the contents of the "city, state and country" columns leaving the headers. Then, when uploading to the radio I use the 128 bit version, that gives me the DMR ID, Callsign and Name. That's all I need to look at.

There is a bug on firmware version "24 Dec 2020" about Ham contacts... Ham contacts are being loaded ONLY in blocks of 65536 itens each. If you load less than 65536 itens, nothing will be loaded; If you load more than 65536 itens, only first 65536 itens will be loaded; if you load more than 131072 itens, only first 131072 itens will be loaded. (tested on CPS 9.1.165)

So that mean if i want my 176k WW i will need to had extra call at the end of CSV for a total 197k so i can get all my ID'S

Not necessarily... you can pull out the data cable a few seconds before the end of the data load, radio gonna show a TIMEOUT ERROR: your 176k contacts will be written, remaining ones to be empty, and radio will show 196608 itens stored.
(IMPORTANT: as this is not the regular operation and may involve risks on corrupting radio memory, users may do this at their own risk) (Firmware 2020-12-24)

Hello Today I have tested this and I found out a workaround to fix this issue until engineers form Kydera fix this. 1. upload old firmware, (that you will have .006 at the end and not .007) 2. update and upload your database into Kydera, 3. Upload new - latest firmware with APRS 4. DO NOT upload new database, because everything is working now, until you will upload a new database! That's it

The contact list on the download page is another conversion from an old corrupt wrongly formatted list that has no city names for the UK. Have a try at re-formatting a decent Alinco/Anytone list..all the info is there.

So changing the columns round in Libra Office from the Alinco/Anytone to Kydera format works ok for me. But when I add some utility radio ID's into it...they write to the radio ok...but will not display the information on radio screen when that radio number TX's. I added these entries at the top of the page as the ID's are all lower numbers then the Ham list start number ID. (keeping it numerically in order)...I really can not see why it does not work.
