Does this Radio have a promiscuous mode for Digital channels?
I've tried pressing the Monitor button (this usually works for Retevis Radios) but I get a "Can Not Run" Error message.
Is there a way to enable this?
I have the latest firmware as of the time of this post.

Unfortunately no promiscuous mode yet, it has been mentioned that they were looking to add it but who knows if/when they will add it.
You can create an RX Group containing up to 100 talkgroups. Then you could add an RX channel for a repeater or two channels, one for each timeslot. That way it will receive any incoming calls from any talkgroup.
Of course if you'd like to reply then you'd need to switch channel/contact to the talkgroup to TX on.

The radio has a promiscuous mode.
Put "Mandatory mode" on a short key and press it
"promiscuous mode on " appears

Thanks, I was able to do this only after upgrading to the latest CPS Software. Also upgraded the FW and so far no issues. I used to have a random power reset issue that has also disappeared with the latest updates, so I'm rather chuffed about that as well.  |
