Hi, I have started having a play setting up a code plug, and yes, I know there is a more recent F/W and S/W, but am preparing for the new set expected at the end of the month.
After I have written the code plug to the radio and everything appears to be good, I press the PTT and the radio returns a BS failed fault code.
What have I done wrong or not done with my code plug ??

If its a repeater, you are either not getting into the repeater or possibly a codeplug issue. If its a hotspot, Set your RX Timeslot to "ON" and the TX Timeslot to whatever you have set on your hotspot.. Typically Timeslot 2.
I would also recommend updating to the latest firmware, currently 28th August, and using the latest CPS to create any codeplugs, currently v2.1.11 (9.1.142). There have been quite a few changes since the July firmware versions, that do improve the radio.. and who knows when Kydera plan on releasing a new firmware. There was supposed to be one in September, we are now in the last week of October lol..

too far away from the repeater was why I got the same message. was 80ks but higher gain antenna gets in most the time.
