In cps,

under Common Menu

under Local set

Add submenu Display Mode

Allow user be able to preselect - CHN+Name, CHN+FREQ, CHN

This will allowed users to preselect the display layout.

Currently, it will reset back to CHN after each write to the radio.

In the firmware dated July 25 that I received,

although it didn't add the sub-menus that I request, but it's no longer over written my current screen settings.

This could temporary fix this issue but still hope to have the per-selected screen setting in cps.

I'm testing more to double confirm this.
