Hi all.
I cannot get the radio to open any analog repeaters with tones.
I have the digital side of the radio working fine, but the analog side wont open any repeaters that have tones on them.
Tone 123 is the most common in my area.
I have entered the tone in all 3 ways that it can be done.
It shows in the codeplug as set, but doesn't work.
It appears that the radio transmits on the repeater output, like simplex.
I have swapped the tx and rx frequencys and get the same result.
Is there somewhere that you have to tell the radio that you want duplex ?
The talkaround is turned off.

Are you having any problems with using this radio on 2MT Grafton repeater Bruce ??

Please upload you COdeplug here so we can troubleshoot and test.
also please post in the right section, this is an issue or bug so it has to be in the proper section. We just moved it.

Have you try to set the channel to only Analog
I dont see why some of you guy are using that stupid format A&D TXA or TXB
to me a channel is either Analog or Digital Period.
Try as Analog only and it should work
All my Analog channel are set to Analog only and never had any problems

So that is not the problem.

Any luck on this? Mine works 100% on analog simplex and repeaters, however you may be ok getting to the repeater but your radio may not be decoding the output pl tone? Are you running enc/dec on any of your repeaters? If you turn off ctcss rx tone that might fix your issue

Problem has been solved.
Do NOT enter the repeater tone settings via the tone button.
Use the channel parameters and then save to current channel.
It was set in the codeplug, but obviously did not get loaded from the computer.
