First let me put it this way the CSV file that you got with the Firmware package is a Carbon copy of the Worldwide Database.
So is you have missing City and any other field missing blame the use that did not fully entered his credential properly.
Another thing all USE in the Europeen Community they have that stupid law for private information and most of them dont put it.
I don't Blame you or anybody else because off missing things inside database contacts.I accept and appreciated how great work is done here to collect all contacts.About your video, you probably sent the full 170k+ contact before doing you extensive test and the problem i see in you video is this.
NO I didn't upload whole database in my Kydera at all. I was only copied Slovenian contacts and put then in one file and uploaded them.you are probably causing the display issue.
No that's impossible, because i have uploaded only 538 contacts.the only 2 that worked is the VE3THW that was ok because you only added the town.
No, If you try my experiment at home, you will get exact same results.
I allow you to use my call sign S52SX and ID 2930012 to programe some other DMR radio with my ID and Call Sing and then press PTT and try to receive with Kydera DMR and you will see that's contacts on Kydera are not showing as should. If you have time and willing to do that, please send me picture then.you first S52SX that you have replace in someone else did not come out right because your call and ID is already at another position.
If you check my video carefully again, you will see that I didn't put my ID twice in this database. Also the name has 1 at the end.
So radio has to cope with 2 entry to display and that is why you get strange display.

NO that impossible, because I never uploaded whole database in my Kydera at all. End of this story!
In my database are only this contacts, which are uploaded in my video!
So it is a bad idea to overwrite partial Contacts as your are just running after corruption.
Why? In any other CPSs from from other brands, there is no problem to do my own database with only Slovenian call signs.So again to everyone DO NOT MANIPULATE the database. I'm not manipulate with database, I only want to have Slovenian contacts inside, I do not need any other contacts!Again if Ham Radio Operator are not satisfied with they see on the Screen then they have to complain to the end user to correct the database.

Yes I blame Kydera for not shoving proper contacts from its own database with ID numbers from 2890000 up to 2950000Because every official update that was packaged by Kydera and distributed via WeTranfer always had the same old Contact CVS form early July, Kydera does not update the CSV on every release.
It user has a paid subscription on AmateurRadio.digital then it is users responsibility to get there own Contact CSV.
I have subscription and I have downloaded database for Slovenian contact and guess what - Its the same problem with showing wrong screen in Kydera.If they dont have access then we will put it on the forum in the Contact section every 2 weeks approx.
They have to consider to make smaller database for contacts that's include only Europe, Australia, Canada.. etc Everything users are doing with the CSV if they dont use the original and they make their own Modification like you did then you are responsible for the display error.

I hope you will do that experiment and then you will see that there is really one issue in Kydera original database!Firmware does not have issue for displaying Contact. Radio display what is in the radio period. If you have duplication on ID or Call then you are running in trouble.
I understand that duplication Of ID is making trouble, BUT NOT the CALL SIGN. If you check original database YOU will find a lot of contact with the same Callsign. Check database at the beginning 1023009 and 1023010 !
Again in my database are only one ID.Last point on Entry for DMR ID 2890000 to 2950000 can you detail more what is the issue? I dont see any other that missing field which is normal at some point.
As I said - there is a bug in Kyder that not showing proper contact on Kydera screen from for DMR ID 2890000 to 2950000. There is nothing wrong with database, but there is a bug in Kydera!

This case is far from CLOSE- try to reproduce the problem and you will se!!
My friend Zvone S52O today upload original database in Kydera and the problem is there, no matter what database you will use!
And yes i can also confirm the wrong display, even on firmware from 27.08 it's still wrong.
