HI Daniel, you can find my answers/comments in RED bellow I have read you codeplug you sent me and i can add any channels i want with frequency i want.
before adding new channel i have set the box at 446.000 and added 5 channel
they all went from 446.000 with increment .0125 .
Try to make 15 zone and add in each zone at least 30 channels, upload it, save it, add couple of more channels in a few zones than upload, save it and finally read if from radio and now compare how many channels you lost or CPS deleted then. So my question is What operating system are you using? Windows ?. Also what language your Windows is installed?
Windows version should not be a problem at all, imagine people in Brasilia, Russia, Germany Slovenia, they all have localize WIN edition - so you said that all we MUST have English WIN edition - that's NONSENSE - CPS MUST work in ALL WIN Edition!
I have Anytone CPS and programed more than 1200 channels inside and everything working without any problems.1: I see this more are an incompatibility in Windows or corrupted Code-Plug. Language other than English may do funny thing sometime.Another thing, when you work with Kydera CPS writing or Reading Codeplug or IAP writing Firmware, are you trying to do other thing on your PC like opening another windows or try to browse the Web? CPS and IAP when uploading or reading your MUST not use any other program or try to open a windows on top of CPS or IAP. If you do so your may run into problems.
IAP will time out and stop. During my 50 min upload of contact my PC had screen save after 10 min and guess what the Contact upload aborted.
I'm using two monitors at the same time and I need to have opened at least two application - CPS and Browser to find repeaters frequency.
Every application is on different monitor opened side by side check picture
I hear this for the firs time now, that CPS must be the only one opened application in Windows - WHAT, are the you kidding me? CPS must work no matter how many aplication is open on my computer. If nor, ther is something wrong with basic code of this application. They need to revise complete CPS code.
Uploading whole database is not unnecessary for me, I have made Slovenian database only.

- CPS constantly delete my channels

With my friend Zvone, we will prepare a short video of what ts the problems with CPS. Try to add 15 Zones in CPS, than add into each zone at least 30 different channels, than upload it into your Kydera, try to change something in CPS in upload it again, than safe it, open it again, or read from the radio, compare now what you have and how many channels you loose in radio or in CPS. Every Time I lost a few channels in almost every zone EXCEPT in Zone 1 in Zone 1 everything is OK and CPS did nor delete any of the channels so far
- CPS constantly change my channels to default channel 136.0000
Did you put your starting Freq in the Box before adding Channel? If so then See comments # 1 above
Yes, always do that, but some times no matter what i put in the box, CPS give some random frequency - that's weird - CPS should changed any of my frequency if I'm within operating frequency range!
- CPS does not allow me to add new desired channels but only add 136.0000 even if I want to ADD 10 channels at the same time

As I said before If I'm within operating frequency range 136-174 and 400-480, CPS should allow me to add desired frequency and that IT! I'm tryiing to add PMR frequency
- You can not copy desired channels from one Zone to another Zone and some channel need to be written many times if you want to have it in different zones
Zone to Zone copy is not possible right now. We have ask to get Export - Import feature for Zone/Channel in the future for ease of programming with Excel.
Imagine to program more than 1200 channels and that some channels/repeaters are in 4 or 5 zones and you have to put it in CPS 4 or 5 times... Llet hope that in Excel we can do copy and paste channels and inpoirt back to CPS...
- You can not insert channels in any Zone
Adding a channel will always be at the end of the list, Delete a channel will always start from the bottom of the list going up.
With this I meant that If you already programmed one repeater/channel, what can I simply not add it to desired Zone. In next Zone/ new zone I need to programmed it again.. and again...

If I forgot to add a zone I need to create it at the end sure, but Why can I not just add it where i want it, or just move it to desired location? - Zones need to be identified as Zone Name not the number of the zone in CPS and in Home screen of Kydera
CPS wise we have a lot of improvement to ask but first we must correct functionality bug's first not aesthetic
Ok understand that, but there is a lot of space in home screen to do that.

- Home screen need to be bigger if you use only one frequency/band
Well If I compared with other radio that have the same screen size i think Kydera is doing well. You can put so much in the screen. If working only on Freq/Band then yes it could be feasible. If you have screen shot of other radio that have same screen size please add it to your post.
Ok Maybe i didnt explain details what I mean with bigger display - I mean home screen of Kydera CDR Radio - check picture.
Can this screen be bigger if there is only one frequency/band selected? there is a lot of empty space at the bottom of the screen when second band should be displayed 
Why this one band can not be extended into the whole screen?
- In home screen need's to be displayed Zone name and not the Zone number
This is already in the list for next round of improvement.

- APRS is not working
We know it is now working and this is a low priority for now, Since Aug 1st APRS is sending stuff over the air but has the wrong format. It is sending 18 blocks to Network and receiving 4 blocks if i look at my live-log on my PiStar. My Alinco which is working only send Blocks but i dont see any received from Network. Some things is missing in the config and we are trying to put our finger on the problems. If any of you guys have idea or tools to decipher the packet sent from the CDR300 to Network then you have welcome to share with us.
Let's hope you will find solution for APRS in the near future. Sorry I do not have any tolls or knowledge to help you about APRS
- Roaming - If you enable roaming, use it and than disable it, its enabled by it self if you change the channel
Yes i had that issue and the disable by the PF key or Radio Menu doesn not work properly, i had to read the radio and it showed Roaming ON and I turn it off on the CPS and Write it again and it stoped. This will be reported to.
That's great that you also have similar problems with disabled roaming
- Roaming - also check analog channels
I have not see that but we will test and report.
Yes when roaming is active, a few times I saw on display also analog channels and green led light comes on for a very short of time than roaming goes forward
- Scanning - you can not set or change default waiting time on scanned channel
This is now configurable at the moment but can be put on the wish list.

- Default Zone can not be set to other Zone
Again this will be put on wish list.Yes please put this on the wish list, because everybody can program CPS more freely.So again thank your for all the points that you have discovered.
