Hello,
I'm experimenting with my new 880uv/Plus. I uploaded the HAM-Database, once 128Bytes (takes about 40minutes), once 16Bytes (fast). The only thing I see in the display is the callsign, no matter if it's the 16Byte or the 128Byte one. Only in the radio contacts you can see all information. Is there a way to see more information on the display, too ? If not there's no need to upload in 128Byte mode.
Also, there's a new CPS 9.1.133 what I've not seen here. Can't see any difference.

thank for sharing the new CPS 9.1.133
i will give it a try.
As far as the Ham Contact yes the 128Byte is a long way i use only 16 Bytes for now.
16Bytes upload only ID and Call and 128Bytes upload all.
until we get the next patched Firmware you will only have CallSign on the screen.
We should get a new Firmware by end of month hopefully.

KYD just wrote that I should seen Call + Name. Hm, maybe I have an old firmware, but the information from the radio and CPS are different and don't look old ;-)

Well that DM-990UV i dont know anything about this one.
So far all members have CDR300UV or DR880UV
I know these true dual received need 2 BIN files to update, A and B. Other than that i dont know.

DM990UV is part of firmware for 880uv radio.
Because 880uv has repeater function - it has 2 version of firmware in the one radio.
Firmware A and Firmware B
It shows as 990uv firmware for Firmware B option

You can use the contact list of RETEVIS RT 73 : there's a Telegram's group (search ContactsLists) When you write the contact pay attention : worldwide list can require over 1 hour. |
