I have managed to update the equipment to the latest version,
Something has happened to the Kydera that does not allow me to record any data from the codeplug recorded in Kydera. When pressing Write, the Kydera screen appears in green Flash Write and after a few seconds, a time-out error appears in red on the kydera screen.
I've tried going back to DFU to flash it, but it remains the same.
Some way to fix it

Hi
Sometimes reboot Kydera and PC solved the issue. Then next step is to check the COM port. Sometimes is also some mistake in your codeplug. Try to check those steps and let me know.

I have done the above steps.
Kydera rebooted The equipment turns off and on. Shows the recorded data of the last recording.
When I press Read or Write, a DATA Mistake window appears.
To discard I have loaded another codeplug from a colleague on my PC.
Still the same

Try to do a factory reset first. and than read from the radio, change something and write back to the radio.

Which CPS do you use? It should be the latest (v9.1.142).

Check the jack. Sometimes I have that error and to solve that I have to make a bit of pressure on the jack connected to the radio.

Is us the correct CPS (v9.1.142) I have pressure de jack, Same error.
When pressing the WRITE icon from the CPS, a second window appears with a DATA MISTAKE error.
Also on the Kydera a green FLASH WRITE window appears. And in seconds the window changes to RED X TIME OUT.

When you want's to write data to your radio, are you pressing any button or you shut down the radio and power it up and pressing any button?
If yes, that this is not OK. For writing and reading from radio you should only power up radio, set com port and then write or read!

I already loaded several codeplugs on the Kydera yesterday. When I wanted to expand channels in one of the recording tests, it stopped working. And from that moment on, it no longer allows me to access to substitute or modify.

I have a cable very similar to the one used by Kydera. Its data pins are the same, however it does not work and says data mistake. Have you managed to read and write correctly on at least one occasion? |

Jose When you connect your cable to the PC without connected to the radio, do you see any Prolific as a COM port in your device manager? If so what is the COM number? If it show a Prolific com in Device manager then then USB end with electronic is working. Next Power up the Radio and plus the 2 prongs end into the radio. Then open the CPS 2.1.11 (V9.1.142) then click Comm and you should have the COMx Profilic in the Com window then Read your radio. If with the proper COM port in the comm windows you cant read the radio them the cable is defective at the 2 prongs end. You can also try any cheap Baofeng UV5R like cable as it is the same. I have 2 radios and one cable and i use my Baofeng for the second radio. Hope this help but you have not respond to the Mandatory question we got only half of the answer. Please read it and respond accordingly is you want help. We cant troubleshoot if we dont know your environnement. I open the CPS 2.1.11 (V9.1.142) click Comm and you should have the COM9. You can disassemble the usb connector and check the pins. ![]() Puedes desarmar el conector usb, es muy facil , y chequear las conexiones. Es una posibilidad que los cables no esten correctamente conectados . Tambien verifica que el chip sea PL2303. Saludos Attachments:

Ok Jose seem you have a problem with PC i have a desktop that i have been using for last 2 month with these radio, Yesterday while testing 6 new radio that came in wanted to make change on my own radio and had the same issue. when writing or reading it would show Writing radio or reading on the radio but for a short time and stop. I had to use another laptop to able to talk to the radio. Today it is back to normal with the same desktop. and even that i have the CPS open twice and had read the CDr300 on one and my 880 on the other CPS with 2 cables plug on same pc.. SO if you have access to another computer give it a try. Or get help from another Ham in you area that could help with his pc. The CPS is not the best i have see lately. Hope you will get it to work. |
